The Goat Audio takes pride in delivering high-energy, dynamic performances that leave a lasting impression on our audiences. With over 20 years of experience working with clients such as, Major League Baseball, Capital One, Insomniac, The Kennedy Center, The T.V. Show "Real House wives of the Potomac", Thompson Hospitality, What The Dance Promotions, and many more clients of the same likeness, we have had the privilege of performing at some of the region's most prestigious events and venues, including music festivals, corporate functions, and weddings.
Armed with a diverse range of music genres and the ability to take requests, our team of skilled DJs and MCs know how to read a crowd and keep the party going all night long, or manage your event with ease.

What types of events do you DJ for?We specialize in weddings, corporate events, school dances, and private parties, transforming any space into a vibrant event with expertly curated music.

How far in advance should we book you?We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak seasons. Ideally, 6-9 months in advance ensures availability.

Do your DJs emcee and make announcements?Yes. All of our DJ's are trained to make announcements and get your audience hype.

What genres of music do you play?Our DJs are versatile and can play everything from Top 40, house, EDM, hip-hop to funk, soul, and classic hits. We tailor the playlist to your preferences and event vibe. We specialize in high energy dance music.

Are you LGBTQ Friendly?Yes! One of our founding members is a part of the LGBTQ community. The other is an ally. Our DJs will play for anyone who wants to have a good time!

Can my videographer plug into your audio source?Yes. We typically have XLR and RCA outputs they can record from.

Can you work with our planner/coordinator?Yes! We would love to be introduced to them as early on in the planning process as possible.

When do we have our final check-in?2-3 weeks before your wedding date.

How early do you arrive to set up?At least 2 hours before the scheduled play time.

Can we make last-minute song requests?Yes, but we ask that all music requests be final at least 1 week out from your wedding date. Our DJ's are very busy and we can not guarantee they will have the songs on demand.

What’s included in your pricing?Our packages include professional DJ/MC services, high-quality sound systems, and one microphone. Add-ons like custom lighting and extended hours are available at an additional cost.

How do I book your services?Simply click the "Book Now" button on our website and fill out the form. We'll get in touch to confirm the details.

Do you require a deposit?No. But we do require a 50% a non-refundable retainer to secure your date. This is to ensure open communication and planning leading up to your date. The remaining balance is due before the event.

Do you charge extra for setup and breakdown?No. We factor this in with the quote based on your package needs.

Can you provide a microphone for speeches?Yes, we can provide wireless microphones for announcements, speeches, and toasts.

Do you take song requests during the event?Absolutely! We love engaging with the crowd. If there are specific songs you want (or don’t want), let us know in advance.

How do you handle setup and breakdown?Depending on the equipment needed we arrive at least 1-3 hours before the event to ensure everything is set up and ready to go. Breakdown happens immediately after the event ends. We do not charge for setup or breakdown time.

Can we create our own playlist?Yes! You can share your must-play and do-not-play lists with us. We can play only what you want or we can blend your selections with our expertise to keep the energy high.

Can you MC our event?Absolutely! We can serve as your MC to keep the event flowing smoothly and ensure all announcements are made.

Do you offer custom lighting and effects?Yes, we offer additional services like uplighting, monograms, and fog machines to enhance your event's ambiance.

Do you need access to power?No, we have battery powered equipment that can keep the dance floor going for hours, but access to power is preferred.

Can you work with outdoor venues?Yes, we can DJ outdoor events, but we require proper coverage to protect our equipment from the elements.

What equipment do you bring?We bring professional-grade sound systems, DJ decks, microphones, and backup gear for every event.

What happens if you can’t make it to the event?In the rare case of an emergency, we have a network of experienced backup DJs to ensure your event goes smoothly.

Do you travel for events?Yes, we’re happy to travel domestic or internationally! Additional travel fees may apply for events outside our standard service area.
